Hello, my name is Ms. Jennifer Melendez and this is my first year teaching at Edison High School of the Arts. I have an endless passion for history and for the Humanities. I cannot tell you how excited I am to be teaching this classand I look forward to sharing my passion for art with you in all forms.
I am currently finishing my AA degree at Edison State College and will be going on to Florida Gulf Coast University in the Fall. There, I plan to earn my BA in Secondary Education Social Sciences, with a minor in Humanities. When I am not teaching or studying, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, as well as traveling around the world to different museums and galleries. I also like to dabble in photography. Below is a picture I took in Glendalough, Ireland. This location is in the Valley of the Wicklow Mountains.
